An automatic 4-speed transmission feeds the rear wheels. This tuned-port fuel injected 245 hp V8 has a cast iron alloy block and an aluminum head. The powertrain for this car is the original 350 cubic inch, 5.7 liter displacement. A full red panel under the dash enhances the cluster gauges that work and look as they did back in 1989. Red trim starts on the door panels and wraps all the way around to the opposite door. Sitting in this car you'll feel the craftsmanship that went into it. The custom accented red lizard seats not only look great but feel just as nice. With a push of a button the cabin doors pop open revealing a very cool two colored leather interior. A very thin horizontal third brake light is moulded into the fin - another very nice detail! You'll also notice the tail wing rides above the car. Looking at the rear of the car, you'll notice large vertical venting under the license plate. The same flared treatment continues past the rear wheel as the bumper wraps around back. As the door continues towards the rear, the moulding becomes very narrow as it meets with the back wheel. It continues past the wheel where it becomes very wide allowing room for functional air venting that's seen just behind the front wheel. The flared out moulding continues on the same line as seen in front of the wheel well. Starting from the front bumper, the car's profile shows some very unique styling changes. Turn signals are where the factory intended but recessed a bit. Rounding the corners, the bumper wraps inward, then curves out at the wheel well - a very nice touch. Functional vented air intakes were placed on both sides of where the front license plate mounts. It protrudes 5 inches past the original bumper. The first thing you might notice is the extended nose. The brilliance in this Candy Apple Red is unbelievable: And it should be! It took 26 total coats to make it this good! Speaking of styling, the flared and contoured body work makes this corvette really special. But we're confident you'll never recognize the outstanding paint work as being a factory color.
